MONACO, THE BUSINESS AND CONFERENCE DESTINATION AT HEART OF INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

Business visitors alone represent 25% of overnight stays in Monaco hotels – and, naturally enough, the Principality has invested heavily in appropriate facilities to host them. In recent years, Monaco has worked hard to cultivate its reputation for the provision of excellence in international tourism by growing and developing a solid network of topquality hotels and facilities for business visitors.

Over the past five years, the hotel capacity of the Principality has increased by a significant 28%. Today, the Principality can claim to be THE Business and Conference destination thanks to the following key USPs:

Flexible facilities to meet any and all meeting/conference requirements
1,000 sea-view rooms, all within just 5 minutes’ walk of the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco’s world-leading conference centre – Monaco is a true “walking destination”, much appreciated by delegates
Quality of life, safety and cleanliness - all guaranteed
A unique geographical location – between sea and mountains – combined with a wonderfully mild and pleasant climate
Warmest of welcomes and highest standards of hospitality
Huge range of activities and leisure pursuits on offer: no less than 13 museums and attractions, concerts, operas, ballets, exhibitions, etc.
The ultimate ‘can do’ approach – all conference challenges welcome!

Thanks to a combination of its geographic assets and innovative service options, Monaco will host several major events in 2008. GLOBAL ASSET, the first international asset management marketplace organised by Reed MIDEM (February 2008) will bring unprecedented new points of view and business opportunities to international fund producers, distributors and institutional investors. Also scheduled for next year are the prestigious United Nations Programme for the Environment conference (February 2008) and the OESO Medical Congress (April 2008).
